Sprinkler irrigation** is a method of applying water to crops in a manner similar to natural rainfall. Water is sprayed into the air and falls on the crops and soil in tiny droplets, using a network of pipes and sprinklers.

1. Pump Unit – Lifts and pressurizes water from the source.

2. Mainline & Sub-main Pipes – Transports water from the pump to lateral pipes.

3. Lateral Pipes – Distribute water to individual sprinkler heads.

4. Sprinkler Heads/Nozzles – Spray water over the crops in a set pattern.

5. Valves – Control water flow.

6. Pressure Regulator – Ensures consistent water pressure.

7. Filtration Unit – Removes debris to prevent nozzle clogging.

8. Control Panel (optional) – Automated systems may have timers or sensors.
